At the heart of my practice is a belief in the pursuit of overall wellness. My mission is clear: to help you address the root causes of your challenges, not merely offer quick fixes to help you get by. I see beyond diagnostic labels, understanding them as coping strategies that may have outlived their usefulness. Together, we'll delve into a holistic approach that uncovers the deeper layers of your experiences.

In this chaotic world, I'll be your compass, helping you navigate through the noise and rediscover the real you—the one who's still burning with energy, confidence, and self-assuredness. Your values will become our guiding stars. We'll identify them and use them to create a life that resonates with what matters most to you.

And when it comes to our sessions, I follow your lead. I'm an integrationist, drawing from a variety of theories to craft a personalized intervention just for you. My philosophy: you are the expert in your experience; I'm here as a knowledgeable guide on matters of human behavior and emotions.

THINK WE MIGHT CLICK?

I'm committed to understanding the bigger picture of your life. We'll explore how issues like systemic oppression, historical trauma, societal expectations, and socioeconomic factors, along with your unique identity, shape the concerns you bring to our sessions.

Frequently
Asked
Questions

Are you accepting new clients? How do I start therapy with you?

Thought you’d never ask! YES, I’m accepting new clients as of 10/2/2023. The first step is a free, no cost 20 minute consultation that gives you the opportunity to get a feel for who I am, how I work, and to ask any outstanding questions you may have. It also gives me an opportunity to determine whether my expertise matches your concerns. If it seems like a good fit, I will send you a link to complete the intake paperwork. Once the intake paperwork is complete, we will schedule your intake session and get this party started!

Is there anyone you don’t work with?

I wish I could provide therapy to all, however there are a few populations that are not a good fit with the online therapy services I offer. I do not work with individuals with significant drug or alcohol dependency, frequent suicidal thoughts, eating disorders, personality disorders, or symptoms of psychosis. These symptoms require more intensive, face to face services or more specialized services than I can ethically provide via online therapy.

Do you do in person/face to face sessions?

This is an online only practice. I do not provide face to face services.

How long will I be in therapy?

The length of our time together depends on your unique concerns. I usually tell clients to plan for at least 6 months. If our work together is complete before then, that’s awesome! And some work may take longer. You and I will discuss a hopeful timeline during your intake appointment and continue to check in as we go.

A good faith estimate shows you the list of expected charges for services from your provider. This policy only applies to clients without insurance or if you plan to pay for your health care bills yourself. You will receive a good faith estimate from me before you start services; please keep in mind it is based on information known at the time of its creation, including length of treatment. You may read more about it here and feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.

I’ve been hearing about this new policy called a Good Faith Estimate. What is that all about?

Let’s work together!
